Eurostat
ec.europa.eu
European official statistics: every Eurostat dataset, queried by code with the usual dimension filters.
GET /v1/data/eurostat/codelist1Request
Code list id, case-insensitive but conventionally upper case - GEO, UNIT, NA_ITEM, COICOP, NACE_R2, FREQ, SEX, AGE. These are whole-of-Eurostat vocabularies, not per-dataset: GEO alone is 878 KB and lists every country, aggregate and NUTS region, only some of which a given dataset uses. The 'codelists' capability indexes all 717 of them.
Which language the code labels are returned in. The codes themselves are language independent.

Ask with this source
A prompt for your agent that names this source and how to call it through the crw MCP.
Dimension code list
Use Eurostat (eurostat) from fastCRW Pergamon, capability "Dimension code list" (codelist). A filter value was rejected, or you need the exact code for a country, unit or indicator before building a query. Example options: codelist=NA_ITEM, lang=EN. Use the crw MCP tools: crw_find_data to confirm the source and its options, then crw_get_data with provider "eurostat" and capability "codelist". Tell me the credits used and cite the licence from the response. If the crw MCP tools are missing, install them with: npx -y crw-mcp install --api-key <your fastCRW API key>
Code list index
Use Eurostat (eurostat) from fastCRW Pergamon, capability "Code list index" (codelists). You need to know which vocabulary id to ask for, or whether Eurostat has a code list for a concept at all, before fetching one. Example options: lang=EN. Use the crw MCP tools: crw_find_data to confirm the source and its options, then crw_get_data with provider "eurostat" and capability "codelists". Tell me the credits used and cite the licence from the response. If the crw MCP tools are missing, install them with: npx -y crw-mcp install --api-key <your fastCRW API key>
Dataset metadata
Use Eurostat (eurostat) from fastCRW Pergamon, capability "Dataset metadata" (dataflow). You have a dataset code and want to know how fresh it is and which datastructure it uses before pulling observations. Example options: dataset=nama_10_gdp, lang=EN. Use the crw MCP tools: crw_find_data to confirm the source and its options, then crw_get_data with provider "eurostat" and capability "dataflow". Tell me the credits used and cite the licence from the response. If the crw MCP tools are missing, install them with: npx -y crw-mcp install --api-key <your fastCRW API key>
Dataset catalogue
Use Eurostat (eurostat) from fastCRW Pergamon, capability "Dataset catalogue" (dataflows). You do not know the Eurostat dataset code yet and need to find it by title - this API has no search, so pull this once and match client side. Example options: lang=EN. Use the crw MCP tools: crw_find_data to confirm the source and its options, then crw_get_data with provider "eurostat" and capability "dataflows". Tell me the credits used and cite the licence from the response. If the crw MCP tools are missing, install them with: npx -y crw-mcp install --api-key <your fastCRW API key>
