FEMA USA Structures
GeoUSservices2.arcgis.com
Building-level footprints for structures across the United States and its territories, produced by Oak Ridge National Laboratory for FEMA, with occupancy class, primary use, address, height, floor area, elevation, county and census tract codes and a modelled building population estimate.
Capabilities (15)
GET /v1/data/usastructures/count1 creditReturns a single JSON object with the number of buildings matching a SQL where clause, with no rows.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/count-in-bbox1 creditReturns a single JSON object with the number of buildings intersecting a WGS84 bounding box.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/distinct-values1 creditReturns the distinct values present in one or more fields across the buildings matching a where clause.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/extent1 creditReturns only the WGS84 extent - xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax - covering every building matching a where clause.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/footprints-in-bbox1 creditReturns a GeoJSON FeatureCollection of building outline polygons intersecting a WGS84 bounding box, each carrying the full attribute set.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/footprints-near-point1 creditReturns a GeoJSON FeatureCollection of building outline polygons within a radius in metres of a longitude/latitude, each carrying the full attribute set.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/in-bbox1 creditReturns every building intersecting a WGS84 bounding box, with all attributes and no geometry.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/layer-metadata1 creditReturns the structures layer definition: all 36 field names with their types, aliases and official FEMA field descriptions, plus the layer extent and drawing info.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/near-point1 creditReturns every building whose footprint falls within a given radius in metres of a longitude/latitude, with all attributes and no geometry.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/object-ids1 creditReturns just the OBJECTID list for the buildings matching a where clause, with no attributes and no geometry.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/search1 creditRuns a SQL where clause against the structures table and returns matching buildings with all attributes and no geometry.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/service-metadata1 creditReturns the feature service descriptor: layer list, maxRecordCount, full extent, spatial reference and the query capabilities the service supports.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/statistics1 creditRuns server-side aggregates - count, sum, min, max, avg, stddev, percentile - over the buildings matching a where clause, optionally grouped by one or more fields.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/structure1 creditReturns the single building record with the given GlobalID, including its UUID, address, occupancy, height, floor area, elevation range and population estimate.
GET /v1/data/usastructures/top-features1 creditReturns the top N buildings within each group - for example the tallest building in every county - using the service's queryTopFeatures operation.
