Capabilities (5)

GET /v1/data/secfts/entity-suggest1 credit

Resolves a partial company name, a ticker symbol or a CIK against EDGAR's separate entity index and returns up to 10 matches, each giving the filer's CIK as the hit _id plus its display name with ticker, its ticker list and a popularity rank.

keysTyped
GET /v1/data/secfts/filings-by-entity1 credit

Returns one filer's filings newest first, 100 per page, each with the accession number and file name, form type, filing date, period ending and state codes, plus facet counts showing the form-type breakdown of everything that filer has submitted. Searchable electronic filings begin 2001-01-02; a long-lived filer may also surface older scanned-paper stubs with no document text.

GET /v1/data/secfts/filings-by-form1 credit

Returns the most recent filings of a given EDGAR form type across every filer, 100 per page with the filing entity, CIK, filing date, period ending and state codes, plus facet counts showing which companies and industries are filing that form.

GET /v1/data/secfts/filings-by-location1 credit

Returns the most recent filings from companies in a given US state, Canadian province or country, 100 per page with the filing entity, CIK, form type and date, plus facet counts breaking the result down by entity, form type and SIC industry.

locationCodeslocationType?forms?startdt?enddt?from?sort?
GET /v1/data/secfts/search1 credit

Searches the full text of EDGAR filings and their exhibits and returns up to 100 Elasticsearch hits per page. Each hit's _id is '<accession>:<filename>' and its _source carries adsh, the filing entity display names with tickers and CIKs, form and root_forms, file_date, period_ending, file_type, file_description, file_num, film_num, sics, inc_states, biz_states and biz_locations. The response also carries a total that saturates at 10000 and facet counts by entity, form, SIC and state. No matched-text snippet is returned - you get the matching document's identity, not the passage that matched.
