openSenseMap is a citizen-science environmental sensor network run by the University of Münster's senseBox project: 17,000+ registered boxes reporting temperature, humidity, particulate matter, pressure, light and similar measurements, with box metadata, per-sensor time series and spatial statistics.

Capabilities (7)

GET /v1/data/opensensemap/box1 credit

Returns one senseBox by id: name, timestamps, current location, exposure, model, group tag and every sensor with its title, unit and sensor type.

boxId
GET /v1/data/opensensemap/boxes1 credit

Returns the senseBoxes inside a bounding box, each with its id, name, exposure, current coordinates and timestamp, model, group tag and the list of sensors it carries.

GET /v1/data/opensensemap/box-sensors1 credit

Returns one box's sensors with the most recent measurement for each: sensor id, title, unit, type and the value with its timestamp.

GET /v1/data/opensensemap/descriptive-statistics1 credit

Returns one row per sensor with a time-bucketed aggregate (default arithmetic mean) of a phenomenon for every box in a bounding box, keyed by bucket timestamp.

GET /v1/data/opensensemap/measurements1 credit

Returns the time series for one sensor between two timestamps, newest first: value, creation time and the box location at each measurement.

boxIdsensorIdfromtodownload?
GET /v1/data/opensensemap/stats1 credit

Returns three totals for the whole platform: registered boxes, measurements recorded and sensors registered.

GET /v1/data/opensensemap/tags1 credit

Returns the group tags boxes use to describe a deployment, project or school, with the number of boxes behind each.
