Licence

There is no portal-wide licence; the licence is carried per dataset and the catalogue mixes two Creative Commons grants with a bare City disclaimer. Of the 285 datasets in the DCAT feed, 238 declare https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0 (CC0 1.0 public domain dedication), 10 declare https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0), and 37 carry only the City's text: "The maps provided by the City of Minneapolis are compilations of records, information and data from various sources, and they are to be used for reference purposes only. The City of Minneapolis does not warrant or guarantee that the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data or maps are complete, current, or accurate. The City of Minneapolis does not represent that the GIS data can be used for navigational, tracking, legal, engineering, surveying, or any other purpose requiring exacting measurement of distance or direction or precision in the depiction of geographic features. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 466.03, Subdivision 21, the City of Minneapolis disclaims any liability..." CC0 and CC BY-SA both permit commercial use, and CC BY-SA permits redistribution with attribution and share-alike, so both booleans are true for the portal as a whole; the 37 disclaimer-only datasets grant nothing explicitly, and the API's `license` property on each feature is passed through so a caller can check before reusing a particular dataset.
