Hong Kong Observatory open data API: real-time station readings, local and nine-day forecasts, weather warnings and quick earthquake messages for Hong Kong, in English, traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese.

GET /v1/data/hko/earthquake1 creditReturns the most recent quick earthquake message: epicentre latitude and longitude, magnitude, region name and origin time.
GET /v1/data/hko/local-forecast1 creditReturns the general situation, the forecast for today and tomorrow, and the outlook for Hong Kong in prose plus structured forecast periods.
GET /v1/data/hko/nine-day-forecast1 creditReturns the nine-day forecast as one entry per day: date, weekday, forecast maximum and minimum temperature, humidity, and the forecast wind, weather and rain probability.
GET /v1/data/hko/real-time-readings1 creditReturns the current readings from Hong Kong Observatory stations: temperature, humidity, rainfall by district, UV index, weather warnings and the update time.
GET /v1/data/hko/warnings1 creditReturns the weather warnings and special tips in force, each with its type, issue time, update time and the warning text.
Licence
The Observatory publishes its datasets on DATA.GOV.HK, whose terms grant reuse explicitly: "Use of Data on DATA.GOV.HK You are allowed to browse, download, distribute, reproduce, hyperlink to, and print the Data for both commercial and non-commercial purposes on a free-of-charge basis on condition that:- you shall comply with the Terms of Use; you shall identify clearly the source of the Data and acknowledge the Government and the Relevant Organisations' ownership of the intellectual property rights in the Data and in all copies thereof including but not limited to paper copies, digital copies and copies placed on other websites; you shall indemnify the Government and the Relevant Organisations against any alleged loss or liability arising from or in connection with the use of the Data." The Hong Kong Observatory's own open data page links every dataset to its DATA.GOV.HK record and states no narrower terms, so the commercial, free-of-charge distribution grant applies. Attribution to the Hong Kong Observatory and acknowledgement of Government ownership are conditions of use.
