Licence

The portal's terms page is a JavaScript application that returned only a 651-character script-disabled notice, so no portal-wide sentence could be quoted from it. Each dataset record in the API carries its own licence fields. The sample dataset (id 1) declares "license_name": "CC0 1.0" and "license_description": "Other (Public Domain)"; other records name CC BY 4.0 and other licences in the same fields, and every dataset also carries license_condition_* fields describing database and personal-data conditions. We therefore rely on the per-dataset licence recorded by the publisher: the sample CC0 1.0 dedication permits commercial use and redistribution without condition, while records under other licences carry their own terms. No blanket portal-wide licence is claimed.
