## Credit cost per API call (cloud)

- `/v1/scrape` — 1 credit per page
- `/v1/crawl` — 1 credit per page crawled
- `/v1/map` — 1 credit per call (regardless of URLs returned)
- `/v1/search` — 2 credits per query (basic) / 1 additional credit per result if `scrapeOptions` is set
- `/v1/extract` — 1 scrape credit per URL plus the managed-LLM token cost for that request, settled from real usage (accepts a `urls` array, up to 50 per request)

## Search API cost per 1,000 queries

`/v1/search` is 2 credits per query, so 1,000 searches = 2,000 credits.

At about $0.93 per 1,000 real-time searches, fastCRW is the cheapest real-time web search API per 1,000 requests — less than half DataForSEO's real-time mode ($2/1k) and far below Brave Search ($5), Perplexity Search API ($5), Exa ($7), Tavily (~$8), and SerpApi ($25 entry → ~$9 at volume). Competitor prices verified 2026-07 from each vendor's pricing page. The same call can optionally scrape each result page (1 credit per scraped page); search responses averaged 880 ms over a 100-query benchmark (search benchmark only).
